Medical Recruitment Administrator – Full Time

Health Developments Corporation recruits medical professionals across Queensland. Specifically, we recruit medical doctors and nurse practitioners who are interested in working in integrated, patient-centred care environments, with advanced clinical skills, knowledge, and capacity to translate contemporary evidence-based clinical care into general practice, day hospital and urgent care settings.

Job Responsibilities

  • Create employment adverts to recruit health practitioners (i.e. doctors, nurse practitioners)
  • Provide facility / clinic orientations and inductions for new hires
  • Perform reference and background checks on potential hire candidates
  • Respond to emails, phone calls and queries and database management
  • Establish a pathway, issue appropriate paperwork (i.e. PESCI, AHPRA, 19AB Exemption, Medicare) and submit documents for doctors
  • Apply for provider numbers for health practitioners
  • Create and issue appropriate contracts for onboarding health practitioners (i.e. doctors, specialists)
  • Organise transport and accommodation for doctors, including arranging cleaning and maintenance with property manager
  • Liaise with Medicare and APHRA on behalf of the clinics and doctors
  • Answer and respond to queries on the recruitment mobile
  • Provide weekly recruitment updates at management meetings
  • Build and maintain a working relationship with the doctors and specialists
  • Work cooperatively with recruiters, other medical clinics and migration agents in facilitating paperwork process for candidates as required
  • Ensuring the candidates have a positive recruitment experience whilst seamlessly supporting internal stakeholders (i.e. practice managers, medical clinic owners)

About You

Required skills and attributes:

  • You will have some experience working in an administrative role, including recruitment, sales, customer service and/or medical industries
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills (i.e. MS Office, Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Effective organisational skills to enable timely paperwork processing and an ability to work under pressure
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build trusting working relationships
  • Ability to work outside of normal business hours when required

Desirable Skills, but not required to apply:

  • Experience in medical recruitment and/or onboarding (i.e. doctors, nurses)
  • Experience using candidate management software
